At the Alice Givens Jones Foundation, we believe that true empowerment includes caring for both our educational goals and our mental well-being.

Mental health is an important part of every student's journey, especially for individuals who are navigating college, careers, disabilities, family responsibilities, and life's many challenges. During BeBe Moore Campbell National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, we are proud to celebrate leaders who are helping remove the stigma surrounding mental health in our communities.
We are especially excited to share that Dr. Christine Beliard, LMFT, daughter of our founder Pamela Givens Jones, will serve as a featured panelist during the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) discussion:
BeBe Moore Campbell Minority Mental Health Month Celebration: Resilience, Rest & Resistance

Why This Matters
At the Alice Givens Jones Foundation, our mission extends beyond helping legally blind students access higher education. We recognize that academic success and personal success are deeply connected to emotional wellness.
Students often face unique pressures, from balancing coursework and finances to managing disabilities and family responsibilities. Conversations like these remind us that asking for support is a sign of strength, not weakness.
Mental health awareness helps create environments where students can thrive academically, emotionally, and personally.
Join the Conversation
We invite our supporters, students, families, and community members to tune in and be part of this important discussion as we continue working toward healthier, stronger, and more resilient communities.
Congratulations to Dr. Christine Beliard on this incredible opportunity to share her expertise and advocate for mental wellness. We are proud to celebrate your work and the positive impact you continue to make.
